Founded in 2015 (and originally based in London), Hinge Health primarily sells into U.S. employers and health plans, billing itself as a digital healthcare solution for chronic MSK conditions. The platform combines wearable sensors, an app and health coaching to remotely deliver physical therapy and behavioural health.

Number one spot is held by Babylon Helth, which was founded with a single purpose: to put an accessible and affordable health service in the hands of every person on earth. How? They’ll do this by combining the ever growing computing power of machines with the best medical expertise of humans to create a comprehensive, immediate and personalized health service and making it universally available.

These three business alone have received nearly $1.5 billion in funding.  Big numbers for businesses with big ideas and solutions to global problems.
