Polestar advised on the MBO of Ward Thomas Group (WTG)

Polestar advised on the Management Buy-Out of logistics, storage and removals business, Ward Thomas Group (WTG).

The £20m-turnover company was founded in 1985 and is based in Acton, London. It comprises three divisions:

• Anthony Ward Thomas Master Removers – a market leader in large domestic removals and storage operating in high-end central London boroughs.
• Aussie Man & Van – a well-known brand in smaller domestic removals & storage across the wider London market.
• Bishopsgate Specialist Installations – a business undertaking specialist storage, delivery, and installation of sensitive or valuable items at four sites across the UK.

Mobeus Equity Partners Partners invested £7.2m as a combined debt and equity package to partially fund the £25m management buyout, their fifth investment in 2014.
