Given the circumstances that have impacted people, friends, family and businesses around the globe, you can’t fail to admire the ambition, energy and enthusiasm surrounding the launch of the first manned commercially built and operated rocket into space this weekend (touch wood for the weather)…..
We come across that same positivity in the face of adversity speaking with owner-managed businesses on a daily basis and it is a great feeling to absorb that positive energy.
The Space X – Nasa launch this weekend will for a brief moment put to bed a lot of the negativity we keep seeing in the in the media or other mediums. This negativity acts as ‘energy sappers / mood hoovers’ and, particularly in this challenging period, has no place in business or outside of work, being a complete waste of time /energy/emotion/economic resource. We want and need more Energy Boosters, Mr/Mrs/Ms Motivators (no spandex!), positive thoughts, positive energy, staying fit, get outside and breath in that fresh air!
So whatever your thoughts on Elon, X Æ A-Xii, Tesla, Space X, just pause for a moment this weekend, toast and reflect on the great things we can do and achieve when we put our heads together and support the visionaries, the business owners, management teams achieve their goals……….. because ultimately, it benefits everyone in society to do so. Post lock-down what will the 2.0 version of you be….
